Who we are

SAMii ("we", "us") provides enrolment, lesson payment and communication tools for music educators and the families they teach. We are based at 60 Halifax St, Adelaide SA 5000. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Information we collect

• Educators: name, email, phone, studio details and the information you enter about your lessons and students.
• Parents and students: contact details, enrolment and lesson details provided by you or your educator.
• Enquiries and forms: details you submit through our website, such as your name, email and calculator answers.
• Website use: pages visited, referring site, device information, IP address and approximate location.

Payments

Lesson payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are entered with and handled by Stripe; SAMii does not store full card numbers.

How we use your information

• To provide SAMii: enrolments, lesson scheduling, payments, receipts and payouts.
• To respond to enquiries and provide support, including through our support chat.
• To send information about SAMii you have asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it, including through analytics and advertising tools such as Google and Meta.

Sharing your information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run SAMii (such as payment, hosting, email, analytics and support providers), with your educator or family where needed to deliver lessons, or where required by law. Some providers may store information outside Australia.

Cookies and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@samii.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.
